... The Road to Madam
MRD's Promise to the Region!
At the 2022 North Atlantic Regional Conference, Madam Regional Director had sorors on their feet as she delivered her promise to the region:
In April 2022, at the Baltimore Convention Center, I promised you that I would hit the ground running; that I would work with you and for you, and we would work together to always put the North Atlantic Region FIRST!
I promised you fellowship across clusters, respect of our legacy, diverse and inclusive leadership, fiscal integrity, academies for seasoned and undergraduate sorors, opportunities for professional networking and entrepreneur programming, and a journey full of love and unity.
Sorors, I hope that these past four months have proven that I am a woman of my word and that my commitment to this region is a commitment to you. Together we have hosted five FANTASTIC Cluster conferences, facilitated an UNAPOLOGETIC undergraduate roundtable unlike any other, developed an AMAZING North Atlantic Regional team inclusive of all clusters, tapped into INCREDIBLE networking opportunities for sorors to learn and grow, and enjoyed plenty of laughs and sisterly love along the way.
I pray that you can see the dream unfolding, that you have felt the love throughout the region, that you have witnessed a commitment to Fellowship, Innovation, Respect, and Service, and that you recognize this commitment serves as our foundation to Thrive.
Thank you for saying, “yes” – and for helping me prime the runway that will jumpstart our mandate to soar in service and in sisterhood, while always striving to put North Atlantic
F.I.R.S.T.!
“I am here to work with you, and for you1"
"To my mind we should all be too busy for petty things, too big for smallness, too intelligent not to see what happens when we stoop to them."
