F.I.R.S.T. in Leadership
Innovative leadership was at the center of the F.I.R.S.T. Love Experience. The Ethel Hedgemon Lyle Undergraduate Leadership Academy and the Ruth C. Easley Graduate Training Institute launched at the regional conference. These two newly anticipated programs expanded sorors' knowledge of the sorority and professional acumen, focusing on the sorority's impact, personal accountability, professional advancement, and next-level leadership.
Ethel Hedgemon Lyle Undergraduate Leadership Academy
Launching The Ethel Hedgemon Lyle Undergraduate Leadership Academy was the F.I.R.S.T. Administration’s response to expanding leadership development training to the Region designed specifically for undergraduates. The Academy complements the collegiate coursework of undergraduates by focusing on strengthening their sorority impact, personal ownership and accountability, professional advancement, additional academic pursuits, and entrepreneurial passion.

Ruth C. Easley Graduate Leadership Training Institute
The launch of the Ruth C. Easley Graduate Leadership Training Institute has equipped sorors under four core pillars: The Path to Leadership, Personal Growth, Professional Development and Next Level Leadership.

Panels, Workshops & Certifications
Sorors fortified their personal and chapter development through specialized leadership tracks, including the All-Star Political Forum moderated by Connecticut Connections & Social Justice Lead, Soror Khalilah Brown-Dean. Panelists included: Sorors Leah Daughtry, Brianna Taylor, and Glynda Carr. The conference held various workshops and certifications, such as the Financial Officers Certification led by Soror Alisa Drayton, the NAR representative to the International Financial Officers Certification Committee, and our Regional Tamiouchos, Soror Shirelle Ripetta.
